The Tag Reader from Leapfrog is a touch and talk reading device which will bring your stories to life like you have never seen before. The way it works is, as children touch the Tag Reader device to the pages of the specially printed ‘Tag’ storybooks, inside the tip, a small camera ‘reads’ each page, and as a result enables the following features: Children can hear their favourite characters speak, they can listen to pictures sing as well as hear the words on each page being spoken out loud. Also incorporated throughout the Tag books are a range of fun and rewarding reading games and activities, which introduce a variety of reading skills to children to enhance their learning ability. Examples include; Word building, reading comprehension, vocabulary and much much more. Children can also unlock extra content which is available online. This works via a form of printable activities and certificates which you can download via a dedicated website.
